GIVE Hope
What do you think of when you hear the word, Hope?
Hope is an optimistic state of mind, expecting the most positive outcomes for events and circumstances in our lives and in the lives of others.
The power of Hope is that it’s a belief that things will get better. It’s not a wish. It’s an actual belief.
Research proves that hope leads to setting “learning goals” for yourself, which are conducive to growth and improvement through a growth mindset.
When people have hope, they have faith on their side.
The belief that “I will grow, improve, and develop into something greater than I am today” stirs up inspiration and motivation on the inside, which propels them into action toward progress.
Science also reveals that the more inspired we become, we set more goals for ourselves, and the harder to push ourselves to pursue them, the more inspired we become as we find ourselves in hot pursuit.
It’s a circular reference that all starts with hope.
Over the next four weeks, we’ll send you thoughts, ideas, and challenges for you to consider, which will help you GIVE Hope to yourself and those around you.
Here’s what to expect over the next four weeks, in your GIVE Hospitality Weekly Newsletter:
Goals: If we don’t know where we’re going, we’ll end up someplace else. Goals GIVE us hope.
Imagination: Everybody has an imagination, which means we’re all capable of creatively designing our next steps in our lives, in our relationships, and even in our careers.
Victory: Experiencing victories along the way, truly GIVES us and others hope for a brighter tomorrow and renews our sense of what’s possible.
Enjoyment: Of course, while we’re experiencing enjoyment, we’re in a positive and productive frame of mind. It’s in those moments of pure joy that we experience hope and GIVE hope to others.
We’d love to hear your stories of how your friends, coworkers, students, or family members have GIVEn you hope; or how you’ve taken it upon yourself to GIVE Hope to others. Share your stories on your favorite social media platform and use the hashtag #GiveHospitalityBook so we can see your post.
Have a great day, and never stop living, working, and loving from a place of GENEROSITY.
