Seven Ways to GiVE Your Heart to Your Team
- Listen. Simply be a shoulder, lend an ear, and just listen.
- Be patient. Seek understanding and allow yourself to feel what they feel.
- Accept people. Accept them for who they are as opposed to what they’ve accomplished.
- Forgive mistakes. A little grace goes a long way, and few gestures are more heartfelt.
- Give gifts. Everyone has needs and things that bring them joy. Gifts express your love.
- Compliment their work. When they know you notice, they’ll know you care.
- Serve them. To lead is to love, and to love is to serve.
